Shadwal Gau Upashray, inaugurated on 30th October 2024 by Lumbaram Choudhary, Member of Parliament, is a sanctuary that celebrates the spiritual, cultural, and ecological significance of cows while fostering community involvement and compassion. Rooted in the principles of Jainism and Indian culture, it embodies non-violence, respect, and sustainable practices, creating a harmonious bond between humans and nature. The name "Shadwal," inspired by the Hindi word for "lush greenery," reflects a commitment to nurturing life and sustainability, even within Rajasthan's arid climate. This sanctuary serves as a haven where cows are cherished and protected, embodying growth, care, and vitality in a space dedicated to community well-being and ecological harmony.

The resting area is layered with soft soil, offering a gentle surface for cows to walk and rest. It is regularly cleaned to uphold the highest hygiene standards.
Sheltered and Shaded Zones
Shaded areas provide protection from the harsh sun, ensuring cows have the option to relax in comfort, whether in the open or under shelter.

Free Access to Quality Fodder: High-quality fodder is available at all times, with easy access to both the feeding and resting areas.
Continuous Supply of Fresh Drinking Water:Clean water is provided through automatic dispensers, which are regularly checked to ensure a fresh supply.

Regular Cleaning and Waste Management: The resting area is meticulously maintained to prevent waste buildup, reducing disease risks and ensuring a sanitary environment for the cows.
